According to reports made by US Weekly, Stewart said, “ We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it,” and then proceeded to gush about how much she thought about proposing in the perfect manner and that it was finally happening. The couple were spotted together in August 2019, a few years after Stewart came out as bisexual and amid much speculation among Twilight fans, they made it official through Meyer’s Instagram handle around October 2019. Although Kirsten Stewart has no Instagram or any social media handle and has almost shied away from public sites to date, her fiancée however has been pretty vocal about their relationship and love for each other.
She shared their first picture together, a black and white one, of the two kissing and captioned it as “Find me under the covers hiding from the happiness police. 🖤.” If that’s not adorable, then this is sure to melt your heart. Six months later on Stewart’s birthday, she posted “It’s my absolute favorite person’s birthday and I’m wishing everyone the volume of beautiful feeling I feel toward her,” the writer shared. “It’s a short ride on this earth, spend your time with someone that inspires you to be the best version of yourself and lights your s–t on fire”, even knowing very well her fiancée wouldn’t be able to check it out.
Kirsten Stewart started out as a movie actress quite early, with her first appearance being in the critically acclaimed Panic room opposite Jodie Foster, and ever since had bagged multiple small and medium roles in teen flicks and low-budget movies or indie cinema. She however got her big break while filming for Twilight, the doomed romantic saga among a human, vampire, and a werewolf, and even dated her then co-star Robert Pattinson for almost 8 years. The two had been dating even before the saga aired and soon after the movie franchise got released became the hottest couple and most talked couple in Hollywood. However, theirs wasn’t a happy relationship, especially after Stewart was caught cheating on him with the director of Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders which led to their dramatic breakup. The two patched up again while filming for the last of the Twilight franchise movies but again split up due to personal differences, this time amicably.
Meyers, on the other hand, had worked as a writer in Hollywood and has a couple of scripts to her credit like Moxie by Amy Poehler, Only the Lonely for J.J. Abram‘s production company, Bad Robot, and even Homemade, a Netflix anthology of short films, which she worked alongside Stewart. The two met at a friend’s birthday party sometime back and immediately hit it off. Stewart later revealed she “can’t f–king wait” to get engaged during a November 2019 appearance on The Howard Stern Show, and she would “absolutely” propose to Meyer.
Now that they have been together for six years and sworn their “I love you’s” to each other, it’s time to tie the knot and start a family. Or at least that’s what we hope for the happy couple.
