The singer, who was clad in a polka-dot dress and huge sunglasses, took a step back after shoving the fan away when the couple’s bodyguard arrived and joined in moving the man further. The couple resumed holding hands after the alleged altercation and walked into the airport ahead of their flight. The “Let’s Get Loud” singer accompanied her beau in Venice for the 78th Annual Venice International Film Festival’s red carpet premiere of his upcoming film.
On Thursday, September 9, the couple arrived in the Floating City, holding hands and giggling as they boarded a water taxi to their hotel. Lopez was dressed in a long-sleeve white lace dress with a bow at the collar and a black handbag at the time, while Affleck was dressed in a black long-sleeve shirt. They were both wearing big sunglasses and face masks. The couple walked the red carpet together for the first time since rekindling their 2000s romance one day later. The Second Act actress wore a white Georges Hobeika gown with a plunging, crystal-embellished neckline to the premiere on Friday, September 10, to support her beau’s current film, which he co-wrote with friend Matt Damon. Since then, the couple’s connection has gotten even hotter, as they’ve been seen on multiple vacations together and even hanging out with one other’s children.
Affleck proposed to his fiancee in November 2002 with a 6.1-carat pink diamond ring fashioned by Harry Winston.
