Tom Felton, who starred as Draco Malfoy in the hit movie series Harry Potter, took to Instagram to thank and reassure his fans that he is doing well after he fell to the ground during the celebrity golf tournament.
Felton, who is primarily famous for his iconic role in the Harry Potter film series that is adapted from the best-selling novel of J.K. Rowling, worried the spectators at the Whistling Straits Golf Course in Wisconsin, US, after suffering a medical emergency. He was placed on a stretcher and had to be taken away off the course on a golf cart. He was directly taken to a nearby hospital although the cause of Tom’s collapse is still not clear.
When this unfortunate incident took place, Tom was in the middle of a celebrity golf tournament that was a part of this year’s Ryder Cup competition. He was an active participant in it and was representing Europe.
He was playing for a team against erstwhile NHL star Teemu Selänne, Mike Eurzione the captain of the US Olympic hockey team, and the retired speed skater Dan Jansen.
Tom later shared his medical update through a video and eased the worries of his fans, assuring them of his speedy recovery. In the video, he also sang a song with his guitar and conveyed the message to everyone that they should not worry as he is recuperating quite fast. The admirers of this popular star were genuinely worried and many had commented on the sudden worsening of his health. The actor celebrated his 34th birthday a few days after this incident occurred and posted his smiling picture on the Internet with a message that he hopes for a better future ahead.
Also, his close friend singer Derek Pitts took the responsibility to update the fans of his well-being. He asked them not to worry about him and shared a picture of Tom smiling in the sunshine.
